Bad Black convicted

KAMPALA- Shanita Namuyimbwa a.k.a. Bad Black has been convicted of embezzling sh11b from Daveshan, a company she jointly owned with her British lover, David Greenhalgh. Her accomplice, Meddie Ssentogo, a city socialite was also convicted of conspiring to defraud the company.

The Anti-Corruption Court in Kampala presided over by Justice Catherine Bamugemereire found the two guilty after ten months of hearing the case. Bad Black and Ssentongo will be handed their sentences tomorrrow.

In September 2010, Greenhalgh jointly formed a company with Bad Black. The company which was registered as Daveshan Development Limited, sought to deal in Real Estate. The New Vision
