Patrick Bitature is a businessperson, entrepreneur, and writer who commands a net worth of $100 million. He is the group CEO, chairman, and founder of the Simba Group of companies that started its operations in 1978.

The Simba Group’s portfolio includes a wide variety of businesses in real estate, telecommunications, power production, mining, tourism, and media. Some of its noteworthy establishments are Protea Hotel, Simba Mining Ltd., Simba Dairy Farm, and Tororo Solar Power Station.

Gordon Wavamunno is a businessperson with a variety of investments in various sectors, all of which have contributed to him having a net worth of $100 million. Some of his businesses include Wavah Water Ltd., Wavah FM, and GM Tumpeco Ltd.

This millionaire is also the founder and board member of several businesses in Uganda, including Bomi Holdings Ltd., Afro Alpine Pharma Limited, Polino Holdings Ltd, and MTN Communication Uganda Limited.

Alykhan Karmali, with a net worth of $900 million, is a businessman, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and industrialist.

He is the general manager of Mukwnao Industries Uganda Ltd (part of the Mukwano Group), having inherited the business from his father Amirali in 1995.

He is the chairperson and largest shareholder of the Aya Group of Companies. This group of companies deals in transportation, manufacturing, and real estate.

Hamid also owns Panafric Transport, a major transporter in the East and Central Africa region.

Sudhir Ruparelia is the founder, CEO, and largest shareholder of the Ruparelia Group. Despite having started his business with only $25,000, his net worth has now grown to $1.2 billion.

The Ruparelia Group has interests in media, banking, real estate insurance, agriculture, hospitality, and education.

John Bosco Muwonge is a businessperson in Kampala. His net worth is currently $1.8 billion.

Some of his interests include Namanga, Cooper, and Cornerstone complexes, as well as Discount Mall, Shamba Complex, and Namayiba Bus Terminal. He also owns more than 400 acres of land in the Kisneyi area.
