MultiChoice Uganda and Vodafone have entered a sales and distribution partnership to create more access to MultiChoice products and services at all Vodafone service outlets in Entebbe and Kampala.
Vodafone currently has 7 outlets altogether in Kampala and Entebbe where customers will be able to purchase DStv and GOtv hardware.
In his remarks,Charles Hamya, General Manager MultiChoice Uganda said,“Our partnership with Vodafone is very timely and focused because we share a common value of constant innovation to be able to meet our clients’ needs. As partners we understand our customers’ need for accessibility of both Vodafone and MultiChoice products, and this arrangement will give them a one-stop shopping experience.”
“We believe that our partnership with Vodafone will not only solve accessibility problems but also give us a platform to respond to customer service requests through the interactive points at the Vodafone dealer shops in these areas as we strive to enhance customer assistance and service delivery.” Charles emphasized.
Under this partnership, Vodafone Uganda will also retail its 4G handsets and data devices at four select MultiChoice outlets including Kololo, Buganda Road, Metroplex Mall and Garden City.
According to David Nsiyona, Vodafone Uganda Head of Sales and Distribution, Vodafone iskeen on taking its products and services within reach of its customers through appropriate partnerships. “This partnership is testament of our commitment to continue growing our retail foot print in Entebbe and greater Kampala to ensure our customers can access to our products and services at arm’s length,” he said.
“We are confident that this partnership will add value to our customers not only in terms of accessing DStv and GOtv hardware, but also give them an opportunity toaccess and experience our affordable and reliable 4G LTE high speed broadband data services in more locations within Kampala over and above our retail stores,” he added.
