The Ghetto gladiator Bobi Wine has come out to wish the dynamic duo Radio and Weasel upon BET Awards nomination achievement and promised to slaughter them a goat when they return from the USA.
Bobi Wine posted the congratulatory message to Goodlyfe and also expressed his disappointment of the media for not giving them enough publicity.
“RADIO AND WEASEL,UGANDA IS SO PROUD OF YOU…..YOU DID SOMETHING THAT ANY OF US WOULD HAVE LOVED TO DO FOR OUR COUNTRY AND EVEN THOUGH THE MEDIA GAVE THE GLORY OF YOUR NOMINATION A CONSPIRACY OF SILENCE AS IF THEY WOULD RATHER SEE THE GLORY GO ELSE WHERE OTHER THAN THEIR OWN HOME,YOU DID IT.THEY MAY NOT LIKE YOU,BUT BE SURE THEY FEEL YOU….YOU MADE HISTORY,YOU HAVE PLAYED YOUR PART…..YOU CERTAINLY DESERVE A HEROS WELCOME,YOU DESERVE A TAX HOLIDAY FROM THE GOVERNMENT AND MOST OF ALL,YOU DESERVE RESPECT…..I WILL SLAUGHTER A PIG FOR YOU WHEN YOU COME BACK.”
Although the Goodlyfe crew lost the “Best Africa Act” award to Ice Prince of Nigeria, they made history in Uganda for being the first artistes to scoop the BET Awards nomination.
