Over 10 workers of Industrial Area based Club Silk have parted ways with one of Kampala’s most popular hangout spot.
Among those who have left include Linda Lisa Mukasa, who has been working as the club’s Publicist for quite a period of time and veteran DJ, Alberto, who has been working at the club for the last decade.
Some reports have it that over 15 people were dismissed by the new management of the club but some of those who left deny the allegation.
Linda says she wasn’t fired but just left her job because of other reasons.
Meanwhile the others who left, on condition of anonymity told the Red Pepper Digest that they quit because of several reasons among which included their salary not coming on time.
So far DJ Alberto is already working as a DJ at the newly opened night club, Ambiance in Bukesa.
Word has it that there has been several changes at Club Silk since the arrival of Connie Akamikira as one of the directors and the departure of some workers is one of them.
