How the 2nd Edition of the Kampala Rolex Festival went down with weird wagon Styles.

The Globe is a one roof kind of house that has different people, with different problems and totally different thoughts. As mugged guys are flocking events to battle it out with ministers supporting the Amendment of article (102)-Age Limit Bill, a bunch of Ugandan’s are enjoying  every kind of festival, from Sausage, Pork to anything you would find suitable to match the word festival, now to the Rolex Festival. The Kampala Rolex Festival 2nd Edition took place last Sunday 20th August at the Uganda Museum. Hitting my head harder, thinking about the craft of putting the culinary delight together is as simple and as ingenious as how its name was born.Truly does ‘Roll eggs’ and ‘rolex’ (Not Rolex Watch) sound the same to you?, might need Tamale Murundi’s opinion on this, I bet the strings of the guitar (Roll Eggs) is sounding like the right notes.

Anyway just to allow, it’s now official that the Kampala Rolex Festival is an annual Event having done its 2nd Edition.
Revellers, whose wallets cry to be opened every weekend flocked the Uganda Museum as early as 11am, to have a taste of different spiced Rolex’es. From Slay queens struggling with tight African wear made casual outfits, to slay kings donning ‘men cropped tops’, from campusers who watch Outdoor events tips on NTV Style Project to those wanting to put on like celebrities. The event was awesome, believe me the Rolex brand has grown maybe better than some musicians here, you could say the efforts of CNN highlighting it as a fast-growing African fast-food for Ugandans was a hit, that we all sung and danced to were worth  it.  That’s the pleasure we are enjoying now.
As the stylish, over-styled, smart,weird-dressed  revelers gathered more,  the event kicked off with a number of music performances from the Undercover Brothers music band and dance groups. With beautiful soul jams that gave serenity to those that paid and couldn’t buy more Rolex’es.

A number of rolex stalls with different kinds both both weird  and awesome spices were well allocated to allow revelers buy the road-side delicacy and enjoy its sweetness. The vegetable rolex, beef rolex and chicken rolex were some of the many types at the festival.

The 2nd Edition was well attended, the wagon was so powerful. The event was hosted by NTV Uganda’s ‘The Beat’ show host Douglas Lwanga and Galaxy FM’s Andrew Kyamagero, who kept the revelers smiling all through the evening.

An event full of both weird and cool outfits , different styles both copied and made. It was an amazing one.
